Somehow no matter how hard I try, I cannot find ONE perfect eyecream. It’s either too oily or too light for the occasion. So I made a compromise. One cream doesn’t fit all.
Sisley eye and lip contour balm
This brand always has products I love. Sisley products are made from natural plant extracts and essential oils of high quality and it certainly shows in the way the product performs. Even though the brand is pricey, a little goes a long way. I may be temporarily seduced by other fancy brands, but I always go back to Sisley. Sometimes a girl needs variety right?
This product has been around for a while. It may not be new and shiny but it works. I used this alot previously and recently started using it again. I felt the eyecream I was using didn’t suit me anymore. I also found it difficult to find any other light yet effective eye gel. Its great for day use.
Although this is called a balm, its texture is gel-like, non-greasy, light and unscented. It is absorbed easily and hydrates my eye area. It also helps to reduce puffiness and fine lines so I can actually look decent even without a good night’s sleep. I keep it in the fridge so it goes on nice and cool. Because it absorbs into the skin quickly, it doesn’t get in the way of my make-up. Only a small amount is required or else it can get a little sticky. Ingredients include witch hazel, climbing ivy and tomato extract. Sounds like some strange brew but according to Sisley, witch hazel decongests, climbing ivy slims and tomato extract revitalizes. An oldie but a goody.
