As most of my friends know, French skincare works well for my sensitive skin.  Ever since I came to know about Crème Simon, unsurprisingly, it has become one of my favourite brands. I have been using their products for some time now and it’s now high time for a review! (Btw there is a 10% discount code at the end of this post for all purchases 🙂 Click on the Creme Simon logo on the right to see other promotions on their site or even request free samples.)

For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, Crème Simon was established in 1860 by a young French apothecary, Joseph Simon, who was looking for a natural remedy to relive dry chapped hands. He created the Activ-Fleur complex used in all their products comprising 7 flowers and plants with healing properties – Damask rose for healing, Jasmine for protection, Iris for moisture, Patchouli for anti-inflammatory, Neroli for circulation and new cell growth, Tonka Bean for skin luminescence and Vanilla Bourbon for regeneration.

Crème Simon products are natural and free of parabens, alcohol, silicones, sulphates and colourings.  The brand also tailors its skincare according to climate ie hot season, high humidity and cold climate which I find very helpful.

Brightening Detox Micellar Water Makeup Remover

The Micellar Water Makeup Remover is one of my favourites from the brand. I have tried quite a  few micellar water removers and many do not live up to their claims. Crème Simon’s version is gentle, removes makeup easily and doesn’t leave a tight nor sticky feeling after use.  It has the signature Crème Simon scent that’s light, fresh and floral.  Needless to say this has become one of my essentials next to my other go-tos.

Dermo Hydrating Toner Mist

After reading rave reviews from my favourite bloggers, I purchased this on their website.  It’s a multi-tasker – as a toner, as a refreshing mist, to set makeup or even for your hair. I especially like to spritz this on my face on a hot day and set my makeup. Its light, leaves skin feeling cool and hydrated. My makeup holds better, reducing touchups.

I just wish that it would come in a travel friendly size so that I can bring this onboard the plane. (Crème Simon pls consider this!)

Crème Universelle

Crème Universelle, the brand’s iconic product that can be used 101 ways for body, hands, feet. The texture is light and absorbs quickly, yet moisturizing. It contains Sodium Hyaluronate that protects against dehydration, Aloe Vera for healing and Shea Butter for moisturizing.  I like to use this to relieve dryness on my hands. Before bed, I apply a thicker layer to hands and feet as a “mask” for overnight treatment when its especially dry.  Some people even use this for chapped lips. The tube is handy enough for my handbag and travel friendly too.

Crème Simon kindly gifted me the Micellar Water Makeup Remover and the Crème Universelle to try.
